48 Hour Charity Fund Raising Event 2008.

G.A.C "2008 48hr CHARITY FUND RAISING EVENT"
 
                Raising Funds For:- Marie Curie Cancer Research and Vale of Glamorgan Foster Children's Xmas Party 2008.
 
        The event will take place on the weekend 25/26/27 July 2008 at Treoes lake,
        Bridgend. The event is being run on a first come first serve basis, To register
        you must contact Mr. Colin Farnham on :-07813001869 or 01656862905 after 1st March 2008.
        All angler's to raise a MINIMUM of £50.00 for adults and £30.00 for under 16's
Sponsorship forms will be sent out after 1st March on registration.
        All money raised must be paid in on or before 25th July 2008. NO CHEQUES
        PLEASE. You do not have to be a member of the G.A.C Night Group to
        enter all under 16's must be accompanied by an G.A.C adult member. On the
        Saturday of the event there will be NO FISHING between 14.00hrs & 16.00hrs
        as we will be having a BBQ and a get together.

THE DRAW:-
              When you phone to book your place on the "CHARITY EVENT" you will be
      asked to choose a number between 1-6 for disabled anglers and 6-40 for other
      anglers. If you want to fish (with a partner or partners) you will be given a
      number and the following numbers in sequence. On the 25th July 08 at 
      16.00hrs or before the draw will take place, before that 4 colored discs RED-
      YELLOW-BLUE-GREEN will be placed at random by the 1st angler to turn up
      around the lake then the 2nd angler to turn up will be asked to draw a disc
      from the hat, whatever colored disc is drawn that will be PEG 1 then you go
      clockwise around the lake to your numbered swim. Disabled anglers, 6
      numbered disc's will be put in a hat and they will take turns to draw. The 3
      pegs closet to the container will not be in the draw they will be used by Colin
      & Mick and one disabled angler. The 2 double peg's along the back Colin & Mick
     will use their discretion (Dads & Son's preferential). The event finishes at 14.00
     hrs on the 27th July 08.
